Day 9 - Kalpowar Crossing to Archer River Roadhouse.

After a night of no rain or strong winds we packed up a dry camp and headed through the remaining half of the Lakefield National Park. We saw plenty of native wild life and were lucky enough to see a freshwater crocodile sunning itself on the banks of a small waterhole. It did not seem fazed on bit by us or the passing traffic.

Our first stop was Musgrave Roadhouse. While there the mail plane landed out the front of the road house delivering mail.

It was from here we headed north along the PDR to Archer River Road House.

Camp set up and it was then on to several rounds of UNO. Its great when there is no internet available for the kids. Great family and friend time.

The nights entertainment was the crowd camping down the road at Archer River.
