From Archer River we continued along the PDR till we turned off towards Weipa. The road conditions changed from bitumen to dirt and while there were corrugations and pot holes over all the road was not too bad.
Upon arriving to Weipa we set up camp at the Weipa Caravan Park with water front views.
The afternoon was spent relaxing while Russell and Chuck went out to look into the second battery issue in the Patrol. The battery was recharged fully and installed back into the Patrol and the verdict on it will be the next day.
