Day 6: Cairns to Lions Den

After more than 34mm of rain overnight we packed up in the rain and the mud.  by the time we reached Mossman Gorge we had dried out!!  Russell and family headed into Mossman Gorge to have a look and completed a 5km educational walk through the rainforest.

After a bit of research it was deemed that the Bloomfield Track would be too wet for us to complete, so instead we headed straight to the Lions Den Hotel to dry out the canvas.  We enjoyed a good pub meal that was spoiled by one very drunk performer (the other 2 were good).
