Repairs complete and the Deep Cycle battery now operating successfully we moved on towards Bramwell Station.
Instead of going all the way out to the PDR we took the Batavia Downs Road past Batavia Station. This way was a little quieter though the road conditions were about the same as the PDR. Once we reached the PDR we turned left and headed up to Morten Telegraph Station for a look around.
It was then onto Bramwell Station were we set up camp and booked in for tea.
It was decided we would run up to Bramwell Junction and on to the Old Telegraph Track up to Palm Creek to have a look at the first water crossing. We inspected the three choices of approaches and came up with number three as our preferred choice. Here we watched a couple of vehicles complete the creek crossing with one having to be winched out. While there we spoke to a local whom gave us some very good advice on tyre pressure (22 PSI) and conditions we would experience the next day.
Upon return to Bramwell Station we experience the Country Buffet and live music. This was a great night - meal was excellent and entertainment was fantastic. Even Russell got and had a little dance. This is an experience all should experience if travelling up this way.
