Day 15 - Cape York.

We spent the morning resting and waiting to see if we could get across to Thursday Island the next day. While waiting we had a visit from a horse. There are lots of these wild horses over the Cape York region. Once we found out that we were able to get to Thursday Island we went on a little sight seeing of the area.

We visited WWII relics near Bamaga Airport, the historic Jackey Jackey Airfield used as a northern airbase in WWII, the Jackey Jackey Creek and Punsand Bay.

The day finished with home made pizza.
